MSN + MBA

You will also study business through a biblical lens that emphasizes excellence in personal standards, stewardship of God-given talents and resources, leadership with a servant’s heart, and kingdom influence through serving others.

Cost Effective — Your MSN Nursing Leadership area of focus courses will satisfy up to one-third of the MBA coursework, reducing the time – and cost – it will take to complete the MBA portion of your dual degree.

Employability — By adding an MBA to your MSN degree, you will be equipped for management and high-level administration roles within various healthcare settings.

With an MSN + MBA, you will be equipped with the business and leadership skills for management and high-level administration roles within various healthcare settings, including:

• Clinical Administrator
• Nursing Director
• Executive Manager
• Chief Nursing Officer
• Hospital Administrator

You will complete 12 graduate nursing core semester hours, 9 direct care core semester hours, 20 semester hours of specialty courses, and 3 semester hours of a graduate-level Bible course (if this Bible requirement was not previously satisfied with an undergraduate Bible minor or approved alternative). For your MBA, you will take eight core MBA courses that will give you general business knowledge and skills. These 27 hours combined with the nine hours of MSN Nurse Leadership in Healthcare Innovation elective courses (taken as part of your MSN) will complete your MBA requirements. This dual degree opportunity is jointly offered by the School of Business and the School of Nursing.
